KLAY Vision signs mega music AI deals
KLAY Vision Inc., a Los Angeles music technology firm, has secured artificial intelligence licensing agreements with the three major music corporations, Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, and Warner Music Group, along with their publishing arms. The company stated that these partnerships establish a framework for developing new AI-driven music experiences while respecting the rights of artists and copyright holders.
The platform, powered by a Large Music Model trained exclusively on licensed music, aims to provide immersive and interactive listening tools. KLAY Vision’s leadership includes industry veterans from Sony Music, Google DeepMind, and Spotify. Executives from the partnering labels expressed support for the initiative, noting its ethical approach to generative AI and its potential to expand artistic possibilities.
Company founder Ary Attie emphasized that the goal is to build trust within the music community and create new value for artists and songwriters. The firm is now working to include independent labels and creators within its licensing framework.
