MultiChoice cuts DStv decoder prices, boosts rewards for subscribers
MultiChoice will reduce decoder prices from Friday onward as part of efforts to revitalize its DStv satellite television service. New customers can purchase standalone high-definition equipment for 300 rand or pay 700 rand for units with professional setup through the company’s web store.
Premium subscribers receive two extra streaming connections for November and December, raising their total to four simultaneous devices. The entertainment provider enhanced its rewards program for top-tier customers with additional vouchers, complimentary movie rentals, and access to rugby and cricket events.
The pricing changes follow the company’s decision to restore Open Time viewing options as DStv marks three decades of operations in South Africa.
