MY Bharat links 2 crore youth online
Mera Yuva Bharat has linked over two crore young people with 1.2 lakh organizations offering volunteering, skill development, leadership roles, and experiential learning opportunities. The platform, run by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, serves youth aged 10 to 29 through a portal and mobile app launched in October 2023.
The MY Bharat app supports multiple languages, includes AI chatbots, voice navigation, and a Smart CV Builder, and issues digital certificates and badges for participation. It connects users with projects in health, education, environment, innovation, entrepreneurship, and social inclusion. Over 14.5 lakh volunteering opportunities have been created, engaging 16,000 youth club members and 60,000 institutional partners, including schools, government offices, and NGOs.
MY Bharat 2.0 adds mentorship, career services, and hands-on learning modules. To reach rural, tribal, and aspirational districts, the platform works with over five lakh village entrepreneurs through Common Service Centres, helping youth register and use its services despite limited digital access.
