Premier Distilleries wraps up Bikole Masavu with big wins
Premier Distilleries Limited wrapped up its Bikole Masavu promotional event at the company headquarters in Kagoma after three months of festivities marking a quarter-century serving Ugandan customers. More than one million people entered the contest while roughly 350,000 participants claimed prizes such as mobile airtime, motorcycles, televisions, and cash rewards reaching 50 million shillings for the top winner.
Peter Kassaga, a Kampala merchant, received the grand prize and said he plans to invest the money in agricultural ventures after purchasing Coffee Spirit products daily throughout the campaign period. The trader estimated spending over 500,000 shillings on bottles during his three years as a brand customer.
Godfrey Sseruta, who directs sales operations, thanked participants from more than 50 districts where mobile activation events drew crowds in locations from Mbale to Kabale. Local retailers stocking company products reported higher revenue and stronger customer interest during the promotion period. Campaign organizers emphasized responsible consumption habits and authentication of legitimate alcohol merchandise at each community gathering, according to Sseruta’s remarks at the closing ceremony.
