ShadPS4 update boosts PS4 game emulation
The ShadPS4 emulator released an updated version that advances PlayStation 4 game compatibility on personal computers. Testing conducted with an Intel Core i5-12400F processor and Nvidia RTX 4060 graphics card demonstrated progress for titles such as Ratchet and Clank, God of War III Remastered, and Gravity Rush 2. Some games remain unplayable while others have achieved substantial performance gains through the nightly build available from the project website.
Bloodborne runs at 60 frames per second with enhanced graphics via the Remastered Project modification, which adds dynamic shadows. The emulator boots previously incompatible games and brings exclusive Sony releases closer to functional status. Developers continue improving the software to enable graphics and performance enhancements beyond original hardware capabilities for players without access to PlayStation 4 consoles.
