Sinners returns to theaters for Halloween screenings
Warner Bros. will re-release Ryan Coogler’s horror film Sinners in IMAX theaters for one week, starting on Thursday, Oct. 30, in time for Halloween. The period vampire movie helped Warner Bros. achieve an unprecedented streak of seven consecutive films opening to at least $40 million at the box office earlier this year.
The film stars Michael B. Jordan as twin brothers operating a juke joint who encounter an Irish vampire. Select theaters in 10 cities will screen the movie on IMAX 70mm film, though digital presentations will also be available. Locations include venues in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, and London.
The theatrical return follows the success of Sinners after its initial release. Audiences can also view anniversary screenings of Back to the Future and K-pop Demon Hunters at IMAX locations. The limited engagement runs through early November.
