SMEDAN to host 2025 MSMES GROW conference in Lagos
The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria will host the 2025 National MSMEs GROW Nigerian Conference in Lagos. Vice President Kashim Shettima and House Speaker Tajudeen Abbas will lead the opening ceremony, with a keynote address from Tony Elumelu. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos will host a stakeholder meeting during the three-day event.
Conference discussions will concentrate on business, finance, and technology, aiming to advance enterprise growth and policy reform. A primary focus will be a policy dialogue for developing a new five-year national MSME framework, alongside sessions analyzing a new national tax law led by Taiwo Oyedele. An export session will be delivered by Nonye Ayeni of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council.
The accompanying GROW Nigerian Fair will feature a large-scale exhibition of promising small businesses from various sectors. A pitch competition will also grant winners 20 million naira.
