Unity Bank corpreneurship challenge lifts 578 youths
Unity Bank awarded 16 million naira to 30 entrepreneurs through its Corpreneurship Challenge at youth service camps in 10 states. Fiyinfoluwa Titilayo Ojo won the top prize of 800,000 naira in Lagos for a soap business, while runners-up received smaller grants for food ventures. The program has helped 578 young Nigerians launch companies since its start six years ago.
Adenike Abimbola from Unity Bank said the initiative gives graduates financial support and training to build enterprises. Winners pitched ideas for farms, catering services, and manufacturing operations at orientation sites across Nigeria. The bank partners with the National Youth Service Corps to identify promising business plans that can generate employment and economic activity.
