Tkandz’s NOW OR NEVER goes global via TikTok’s SoundOn
TikTok’s SoundOn distribution service helped UK rapper Tkandz achieve chart success with his September track NOW OR NEVER. The song appeared on 1.5 million platforms and reached number 30 on the British singles rankings. German charts placed the recording at number 12, while Austrian audiences brought it into the top 10.
Spotify lists the track among its 100 most-streamed songs globally. Tkandz signed with Everything’s Yours Entertainment and became the sole British rapper on Spotify’s Top Hits playlist. SoundOn launched in 2022 and registered more than 1.1 million artists who distributed music through the platform.
Previous SoundOn releases achieved commercial success across multiple markets. WizTheMc’s Show Me Love climbed to number three in Britain and generated 500 million Spotify streams through a Tyla remix. The service expanded into Germany after establishing operations in America, Britain, Australia, Brazil, and Indonesia.
TikTok data shows 84 percent of Billboard Global 200 tracks became platform hits before chart placement in 2024. The 19-year-old Essex artist uses BandLab software to create recordings and maintains 63,000 followers on that application.
