Aion 2 drops 2026 with DLSS 4 firepower
The MMORPG Aion 2 is set to launch globally in 2026, offering support for NVIDIA DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation on PC, as well as a mobile release. Developed by NCSOFT using Unreal Engine 5, the sequel to 2008’s Aion: The Tower of Eternity is set two centuries later in a seamless, open world 36 times larger than the original, eliminating the need for loading screens between regions.
Players will again align with either the Elyos or Asmodian factions, but this time on separate servers, with all faction conflict confined to the Abyss—a dedicated PvP zone where populations from paired servers battle. At launch, the game will offer eight classes: Gladiator, Templar, Assassin, Marksman, Sorcerer, Spiritmaster, Cleric, and Chanter, as well as more than 200 dungeons for solo and group play, supporting up to eight players.
Aion 2 debuts first in South Korea and Taiwan on November 19 and is currently playable at the GeForce Gamer Festival in Seoul, an event marking 25 years of GeForce in South Korea.
