Fortnite X The Simpsons crossover brings Springfield fun
Fortnite launched its collaboration with The Simpsons on Friday, transporting Battle Royale participants to Springfield Island for Chapter 6, Season 5. Epic Games promises a streamlined experience focused on fundamental gameplay mechanics while introducing weekly content themed around the animated television series.
Original animated segments created jointly by Gracie Films and Epic Games will preview map modifications each week. Players can watch these through the Quests tab, social media platforms, or Disney+. The first installment, titled Apocalypse D’Oh, premiered Friday, with Sugar High arriving on November 10, Multiplidiocy on November 17 and The Incredible Bulk on November 24. The Springfield Battle Pass offers character outfits for Homer, Marge, Flanders, Blinky Fishstick and a Springfielder Peely as premium unlockables. Weekend players can try Delulu mode, featuring weapons inspired by the show.
Rocket League received similar content through November 17. Completing challenges earns rewards like the Blinky Topper, Homer’s Hedges Player Banner and Waste Wheels. An unlimited challenge grants 20,000 experience points per completion. Fortnite introduced Sidekicks this season with Peels available for purchase, and additional characters will debut on Friday, November 7.
