AOC’s new QD OLED monitors bring premium tech for less
AOC launched two quantum dot OLED gaming displays targeting players who prefer 1440p resolution. The Q27G4ZDR and Q27G4SDR both feature 26.5-inch screens with 2560 by 1440 pixel density but differ in refresh capabilities and cost. The Q27G4ZDR operates at 240 Hz and sells for approximately 399 euros, while the Q27G4SDR reaches 360 Hz and carries a 549-euro price tag.
Each display delivers the contrast and color performance associated with QD OLED technology. The lower-priced Q27G4ZDR supports HDR10 and achieves 400 nits peak luminance across limited screen areas. Connectivity options include dual HDMI 2.1 connections, one DisplayPort 1.4 interface and a pair of USB Type-A ports operating at 5 gigabits per second. The premium Q27G4SDR variant produces brief 1,000-nit brightness peaks and earned VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 status alongside official G-Sync Compatible validation.
Both models ship with adjustable stands allowing tilt, height and swivel modifications. AOC provides desktop software called G-Menu for customizing visual settings and gaming profiles. The company backs each unit with three years of burn-in protection and plans to begin deliveries in mid-November. The Q27G4ZDR positions itself as a budget-friendly QD OLED entry point, while the Q27G4SDR targets competitive gaming scenarios demanding maximum responsiveness.
