Batelco opens Bahrain’s first White Space Data Centre
Batelco, operating under the Beyon brand, completed construction of Bahrain’s first White Space Data Centre and announced that the facility is ready for operations. The company shared the news during the Gateway Gulf BH Investor Forum 2025, which took place on Monday at the Four Seasons Hotel in Manama and brought together technology executives, investors and government officials to explore the nation’s technology sector.
The data center supports Bahrain’s effort to establish itself as a digital hub across the Gulf region. Beyon says the infrastructure will meet rising requirements for cloud computing, secure hosting services and high-performance processing for businesses operating in Bahrain and neighboring markets. The facility forms part of a broader infrastructure investment strategy that aligns with national development goals outlined in Bahrain Vision 2030.
Batelco continues building its technology platform through the project, which officials describe as a key component in advancing the country’s ambitions to lead innovation efforts among Gulf nations.
