Battlefield 6 reclaims top spot in EU sales
Battlefield 6 reclaimed the top spot in last week’s European video game sales for the period of October 19 to 26, according to data from GSD reported by The Game Business. Pokémon Legends Z-A, which led in unit sales during its launch week, fell to third place, while EA Sports FC 26 held steady at number two. However, these rankings reflect only physical sales, as Nintendo does not report digital figures. If digital sales were included, Pokémon Legends Z-A might still be leading.
The revenue chart mirrors the same top three titles, but differences emerge further down the list. Ninja Gaiden 4 and The Outer Worlds 2 did not appear on the unit sales chart, yet they ranked sixth and ninth, respectively, by revenue—likely due to their higher price points. Conversely, three titles on the unit sales list failed to make the revenue top ten. Among them is the newly released Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted, which is currently at number six in terms of units. Titanfall 2 surged to number eight in units sold, jumping more than 3,600 percent week-over-week, while Mass Effect: Legendary Edition landed at number ten. Both older titles benefited from recent 90 percent discounts on Steam, making their sudden popularity less surprising.
