BCI hosts workshop on cloud computing, cyber security
The Bangladesh Chamber of Industries hosted a training workshop on Saturday focused on cloud computing and cybersecurity for business leaders at its Dhaka boardroom. ICT Division Secretary Shish Haider Chowdhury served as the chief guest, while BCI President Anwar-Ul Alam Chowdhury led the session, with 25 participants from member organizations in attendance.
Chowdhury told attendees that Bangladesh industries must adopt automated systems and cloud solutions to remain competitive as artificial intelligence reshapes global commerce. He stressed that stronger security protocols are essential as digital risks grow alongside technological adoption.
The ICT secretary praised the chamber for addressing timely concerns and said his division continues to develop data protection laws with academic and private-sector partners. He pledged continued government support for business technology initiatives.
Rifat Rahman from Tirzok Private Limited and former National Cyber Security Agency chief, Md. Khairul Amin led training sessions before BCI Director Dr. Delowar Hossain Raza distributed completion certificates.
