Samsung drops S26 Edge after weak sales
Samsung will begin manufacturing the Galaxy S26 Ultra in December after canceling the Galaxy S26 Edge model and postponing production of two other flagship phones. The company delayed approval for Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus displays until December while advancing Ultra model production to fill available factory capacity. Industry analysts say the Ultra model accounts for more than half of the series’ sales due to its exclusive features and the S Pen stylus. The base models will enter production in January ahead of a February announcement event.
