Castle Lager Braai Fest expands, brings fun to more cities
Castle Lager expanded its annual celebration significantly during 2025 by organizing gatherings across ten Zimbabwean population centers rather than focusing exclusively on the capital city. These regional events occurred weekly before the October 18 main festival, allowing residents in smaller communities to participate in activities featuring local musicians, traditional grilled meals, and the company’s signature beverage. Each participating location received ten new hospital beds from the brewing company as part of its community support program.
The national finale at Glamis Arena showcased multiple popular performers, including Enzo Ishall and international guest artists, marking the event’s tenth anniversary. Attendance levels demonstrated strong nationwide engagement with the brand’s decade-long tradition of bringing people together. Organizers emphasized how this expanded approach strengthened relationships with consumers in previously underserved areas while maintaining the festival’s core identity. The initiative highlighted the company’s commitment to celebrating Zimbabwean culture through music, food, and community investment simultaneously.
