Clixroute partners with TPV to make AOC projectors in India
A domestic electronics manufacturer will produce AOC-branded projectors and outdoor power equipment following an agreement with a Chinese technology partner. Clixroute Industries Private Limited said on Sunday it will spend $10 million building facilities in Uttar Pradesh as part of a multiyear arrangement with TPV Audio and Visual Technology based in Shenzhen.
The venture positions Clixroute as the sole importer, producer and distributor of AOC projection systems and external power units across India. Company director Himanshu Gupta said the project will generate approximately 200 positions while establishing local supplier networks. AOC International operates as a division of Taiwan’s TPV Technology, which ranks among the largest producers of liquid crystal display monitors and television sets worldwide.
India’s appetite for sophisticated presentation equipment and portable power devices continues expanding across business, academic, entertainment and infrastructure applications. The manufacturing arrangement supports government efforts to reduce reliance on imported goods through expanded domestic production capacity.
