COWAN, MoMo set to empower 25m entrepreneurs
The Country Women Association of Nigeria has partnered with MoMo Payment Service Bank to launch an initiative targeting 25 million business owners across the country. The collaboration centers on the National Entrepreneurship Summit and Exhibition 2025, taking place on November 18 through 20 in Lagos, with a focus on innovation and financial access for women and young people.
Princess Adesola Ogunleye, who leads the association nationally, outlined the program during a media briefing in Lagos. She emphasized that the organization’s four-decade history of supporting women at community levels will underpin efforts to reach the ambitious entrepreneur goal. The event aims to connect business operators with investors, government officials, and development agencies while advancing job creation and economic participation.
