Nigerian Breweries posts 48% revenue growth in Q3 2025
Nigerian Breweries earned 1.04 trillion naira in revenue for the nine months through September after acquiring Distell Nigeria and expanding premium beer sales. The beverage manufacturer posted a net profit of 85.5 billion naira, compared with a 149.5 billion naira loss the previous year, as pricing adjustments offset inflationary pressures.
Company Secretary Uaboi Agbebaku said market leadership improved through better distribution networks and higher-priced products. A 2024 rights issue strengthened finances while operating costs declined through supply chain improvements.
The brewer installed production equipment at its Ibadan factory to manufacture wine and spirits brands acquired from Distell. Nigerian Breweries bought 80 percent of Distell in June 2024 and, in March 2025, purchased the remaining stake from two shareholders.
Corporate Affairs Director Uzodinma Odenigbo said the integration expands the portfolio beyond beer into wines and ready-to-drink beverages. Management expects fourth-quarter sales to increase as holiday demand rises.
