Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 progress on track
Square Enix director Naoki Hamaguchi confirmed development progress remains strong for Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 through comments made to VGC. The game director stated he has completed vision work for gameplay structure and core mechanics while expressing confidence the final installment will meet player expectations. Hamaguchi indicated the trilogy conclusion aims to deliver a fresh experience compared to earlier entries and should arrive within a reasonable timeframe.
The development team has applied specific technical adjustments to ensure the complete trilogy performs well on Nintendo Switch 2 hardware. Producer Tetsuya Nomura previously stated the project maintains its planned timeline.
