HUMAIN and xAI partner to build hyperscale GPU data centers in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund subsidiary HUMAIN has established a framework agreement with xAI to construct hyperscale graphics processing unit data centers throughout the kingdom and implement xAI’s Grok language models nationally. The arrangement announced at the U.S.-Saudi Investment Forum includes the development of a flagship facility exceeding 500 megawatts, representing xAI’s initial large-scale computing deployment outside the United States territory.
The partnership combines HUMAIN’s infrastructure capabilities with xAI’s frontier artificial intelligence systems to deliver computational resources for training and deploying advanced models. Grok will integrate into HUMAIN’s agent platform HUMAIN ONE, providing real-time intelligence and autonomous workflow capabilities across governmental and commercial sectors.
HUMAIN chief executive Tareq Amin stated the collaboration creates computational scale and deployment velocity designed to support the development of advanced technologies. The initiative advances HUMAIN’s objective to establish an integrated AI value chain spanning infrastructure, compute resources, data management, models and applied solutions.
