I Hate This Place delayed to January 2026
Broken Mirror Games has delayed its debut title, I Hate This Place, from its original release date of November 7, 2025, to January 29, 2026. The developer cited the need for additional time to implement changes and features based on community feedback, saying it wants the game to make a strong first impression. The announcement came alongside a new story trailer that leaned into the game’s eerie, 1980s-inspired horror atmosphere—fitting for Halloween but arriving too late for this year’s fright night.
Based on the comic by writer Kyle Starks and artist Artyom Topilin, I Hate This Place is an isometric horror adventure where players confront supernatural threats in a stylized retro setting. First revealed in March 2025, the game will now launch on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch in early 2026. Until then, a playable demo remains available on PC through Steam Next Fest for those eager to experience its spooky world ahead of release.
