Kavango Resources chief executive Ben Turney departed the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange company, with executive chairman Peter Wynter Bee taking temporary control. Donald McAlister steps in as interim financial officer while Gautam Dalal leads the audit committee. The mining firm confirmed a viable surface gold deposit at the Nightshift Prospect within its Hillside Gold Project in Filabusi, containing 19,000 ounces at 0.86 grams per ton.
Management plans to expand processing capacity at Bill’s Luck Gold Mine from 200 to 300 tons per day following the discovery, located 800 meters west of existing operations. McAlister previously served as finance director at Reunion Mining and Mwana Africa, and held board positions at Freda Rebecca Gold Mine and Bindura Nickel Corporation. The company seeks to maximize asset value through the leadership transition that brings regional operational expertise to Southern African projects.
