Rainbow Towers completes US$5.2 million upgrade
Rainbow Tourism Group completed a $5.2 million upgrade of Rainbow Towers Hotel and Harare International Convention Centre to strengthen its market position. The company spent $26 million across five years modernizing properties to meet global standards. Management converted three floors into six luxury suites with private dining rooms and kitchenettes for executive visitors. Workers renovated 48 additional rooms with neutral colors and local artwork.
Chief executive Tendai Madziwanyika said bookings increased after the improvements that position Zimbabwe for major regional gatherings. The convention center seats 4,500 people in Africa’s largest colosseum venue with new charging stations and digital systems. Heritage Expeditions Africa operates tours with road transfers and multilingual guides. Services range from wildlife excursions to watercraft trips across the nation.
