Mihas 2025 records RM6.05 billion in sales
Malaysia’s International Halal Showcase generated 6.05 billion ringgit in sales across four days last month, exceeding the previous year by 40.7 percent. The September exhibition at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre drew more than 50,000 business visitors from 107 nations to view 2,400 booths spanning 14 halal sectors. Investment Minister Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz said the results demonstrate the country’s strength in the halal market through its industrial master plans extending to 2030.
The trade development corporation Matrade organized the event and ran a hosted buyers program that produced 530 million ringgit through 370 meetings between domestic and foreign participants. An artificial intelligence platform debuted at the concurrent International Sourcing Programme to connect 600 Malaysian exporters with 300 international purchasers. The showcase surpassed its 4.5 billion ringgit target and offered digital access through online portals for continuous market intelligence.
