IJM secures RM1.26 billion data centre project
IJM Corp secured a 1.26 billion ringgit contract to build a hyperscale data center in Selangor, keeping the Malaysian construction firm on pace to reach its 6 billion to 8 billion ringgit target for the 2026 fiscal year. CGS International analysts said the project marks IJM’s second data center contract in three months and brings total wins for the year to 4.2 billion ringgit.
Work begins in the fourth quarter of 2025 with completion expected by mid-2027. RHB Investment Bank noted IJM has bid on four to six additional data center projects across the Klang Valley and Johor regions. The company maintains an order book of 8.5 billion ringgit as of Oct. 25.
