Modder unlocks Reflex 2 for older RTX GPUs
A modder named Pure Dark created a demonstration version of NVIDIA Reflex 2 that functions on graphics cards from the RTX 20 and RTX 30 series. The modder reverse-engineered a file from ARC Raiders’ public testing and extracted the Frame Warp technology, which NVIDIA officially restricts to RTX 50 series cards. DSO Gaming confirmed the modified software operates on older hardware, though visual problems appear when frame rates drop below 100 frames per second.
Frame Warp reduces input delay by adjusting rendered frames to match the most recent mouse or camera position before display. The technology launched in January but remains scarce in games outside competitive titles. NVIDIA has not announced whether it will officially support Reflex 2 on graphics cards released before the RTX 50 series.
