NCS Port Harcourt surpasses 2025 revenue target by N31 billion
Nigeria Customs Service operations in Port Harcourt generated 247 billion naira between January and October 2025, exceeding the annual target of 216 billion naira by more than 31 billion naira. Comptroller Salamatu Atuluku reported that October collections reached 33 billion naira, representing a 272 percent increase from 9 billion naira during the same month in 2024 and marking the highest single-month performance in command history.
Atuluku credited the Bodogwu digital platform for tracking revenue processes and eliminating bottlenecks through real-time monitoring capabilities. Enhanced cooperation with government agencies and private sector partners has reduced port disputes while encouraging voluntary compliance, she added during a Port Harcourt briefing.
