Nigeria, Algeria parliaments ink new MoU
Nigerian House of Representatives Speaker Abbas Tajudeen and his counterpart from Algeria’s People’s National Assembly signed an agreement on Monday to enhance cooperation between their legislative bodies. The memorandum establishes frameworks for official visits, committee coordination, and capacity development programs between the two African nations. Both sides are committed to supporting democracy and legal standards through knowledge exchange and joint parliamentary initiatives. The accord builds on existing diplomatic ties and on the shared principles outlined in the African Union guidelines for member states.
