Turkish Airlines reports $1.1 billion profit for Q3 2025
Turkish Airlines generated $1.1 billion in operating profit during the July through September period as the carrier transported 27.2 million passengers, marking its strongest third-quarter performance on record. Chairman Ahmet Bolat stated the results demonstrated the airline’s ability to maintain financial stability through diversified revenue channels despite industry headwinds, including supply chain disruptions and engine delivery constraints.
The Istanbul-based carrier expanded its fleet to 506 aircraft while finalizing purchase agreements with Boeing for up to 75 787 Dreamliners and 150 737 MAX jets to support plans targeting more than 800 planes by 2033. Total assets reached $43.2 billion, with employment across subsidiaries exceeding 101,000 workers. October traffic data showed passenger volumes climbing 19 percent while cargo tonnage increased 16 percent, positioning the company to achieve full-year EBITDAR margins between 22 and 24 percent.
