Noor Takaful pushes ethical insurance growth
Noor Takaful Insurance wants to work more closely with brokers to provide ethical coverage options across Nigeria. Vice Chairman Aminu Tukur addressed partners at the Radisson Blu in Ikeja and said the firm values trust and shared success. The company processed 4.3 billion naira in premiums through relationships with more than 200 brokers over 12 months.
Managing Director Rilwan Sunmonu said the insurer targets 30 billion naira in contributions by 2026 through expanded products and market access. Chief Business Development Officer Ismaeel Ayanlere expects takaful penetration to grow from 0.3 percent to 1.5 percent by 2030 as awareness increases. Noor Health Chief Operating Officer Abiola Thompson said the Sharia-compliant health maintenance organization will deliver affordable care through digital platforms and hospital networks.
The gathering recognized brokers for performance and loyalty. Colenson Brokers Nigeria and Rachbuk Insurance Brokers received top performer awards. First Adequate Benefits Insurance Brokers and Pure Surplus Insurance Brokers earned recognition for sustained partnerships.
