Nuvv platform offers group buys and discounts in Kenya
A new platform helps Kenyan shoppers cut costs through bulk purchases and shared payments as prices climb across the country. Nuvv connects buyers who want identical products and lets them pool orders for discounts or split expenses with others.
The service launched in Kenya on Monday with two main tools. Group Buy links strangers through interest-based communities called Nuvv Spaces, where members coordinate bulk orders from suppliers. Split Pay lets users create shopping lists that friends or donors can fund through social media links.
Inflation reached 4.6 percent in September, driven by higher vegetable prices. The platform targets individuals and small businesses seeking relief from rising expenses through collective purchasing power.
Users form communities around specific needs such as farm equipment or business supplies. The system works for celebrations and charitable causes when multiple people contribute toward a single purchase or delivery.
