ONErpm taps Nuno Rocha to drive growth in Africa, MENA
ONErpm promoted Nuno Rocha to oversee business development across Portugal, Portuguese and French-speaking African nations, and the Middle East and North Africa area. The company announced plans to establish an Angolan headquarters in Luanda this autumn while increasing investment in Morocco, Tunisia, and Egypt. Rocha previously directed ONErpm’s Portuguese operations and will now coordinate expansion efforts throughout these growing music markets.
Rocha brings extensive industry experience, having managed artists and organized major festivals before joining ONErpm. His leadership contributed to significant streaming achievements for performers like Portuguese act Badoxa and Angolan artist Chelsea Dinorath. The company reported strong growth in Egypt under existing management, with artist Mond reaching sixty-one million streams within four months. ONErpm’s Portuguese team currently collaborates with Brazilian marketing specialists to support all Portuguese-speaking territories. This strategic appointment reflects the distributor’s commitment to developing talent and infrastructure across diverse global regions while building sustainable partnerships with local music communities.
