SASSA confirms November 2025 grant payment dates
South African Social Security Agency officials have set November 2025 grant disbursement dates, starting on November 4 for older persons, followed by disability payments on November 5 and children’s benefits on November 6. The Social Relief of Distress grant operates on a different schedule, with payments processed in multiple batches rather than on a single date.
All new applicants must complete biometric enrollment through fingerprint or facial scans under rules that took effect on Sept. 1 as part of fraud prevention measures. The agency requires the identification verification for every fresh grant application submitted after the implementation date.
