Seun Mafa urges Nigeria to address challenges without foreign intervention
Seun Mafa, a US-based tech entrepreneur and healthcare innovator, has urged Nigerians to address their challenges independently, rather than relying on foreign political promises. In response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent remarks about “rescuing Nigerian Christians,” Mafa criticized the narrative of external intervention, warning that it undermines Nigeria’s sovereignty and often leads to instability.
Mafa emphasized that Nigeria’s issues, such as governance, accountability, and social division, must be solved internally by its leaders and citizens. While he expressed concern for vulnerable groups, he stressed that sustainable solutions lie in strengthening local institutions and demanding accountability from leaders. Mafa concluded that Nigeria’s future depends on its own actions, not foreign interventions.
