Solasta II enters early access in early 2026
Tactical Adventures will release Solasta II in early access through Steam in early 2026. The French studio delayed the turn-based tactical role-playing game from its original 2025 target date. The sequel switches from Unity to Unreal Engine 5 for improved graphics, but may sacrifice some modification capabilities that allowed players to create custom content in the first game.
The developers base the adventure on the Dungeons and Dragons SRD 5.1 rules and set it on the continent of Neokos. Players will follow a family legacy quest while confronting Shadwyn, an ancient entity voiced by Amelia Tyler from Baldur’s Gate 3. The game features open exploration across the map rather than linear progression. Tactical Adventures plans a community livestream on Tuesday to demonstrate the overworld map system and address player questions.
