Steel Ministry clears 96% of public grievance backlog
The Steel Ministry reported Tuesday that it completed 96 percent of its complaint resolution goals under a month-long government efficiency drive. The Special Campaign for Disposal of Pending Matters runs through Oct. 31 to address cases from lawmakers, the prime minister’s office, and state authorities. Workers removed 8,525 outdated paper files and conducted 195 workspace cleaning operations. The effort freed 9,851 square feet of office area by discarding obsolete materials and electronic waste.
Public enterprises under ministry supervision adopted new systems for managing records and resolving citizen complaints. Officials said the improvements establish performance standards for other government departments. The campaign targets matters registered through the national grievance monitoring platform. Ministry leaders pledged continued focus on administrative reform and transparent operations.
