Tech Innovation Awards to honor Africa’s top disruptors
Africa’s ninth Tech Innovation Awards will honor digital pioneers and policymakers advancing the continent’s technology sector when InstinctWave Group and Digital Economy Magazine stage the ceremony on November 29 at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos. The program recognizes achievements in telecommunications, artificial intelligence, financial technology and renewable energy through merit-based selections that support connectivity expansion and economic development goals.
Categories span sustainable banking practices, cross-border payment systems, agricultural technology and shipping logistics innovations that strengthen infrastructure and broaden financial access across the region. Previous award cycles generated investment partnerships and elevated startup ventures into major regional operations while drawing global attention to African digital capabilities.
Submissions remain open for organizations, individuals and government agencies operating throughout Africa. InstinctWave chief Akin Naphtal said the platform creates collaborative networks in which innovators address telecommunications and environmental challenges, positioning Nigeria as a competitive technology center.
