WEMADE unveils Project TAL RPG trailer
South Korean companies WEMADE MAX and MADNGINE announced Project TAL, an action role-playing game set for 2027 release on computers and consoles. The single-player adventure draws from Korean mask traditions and folklore, featuring combat where players climb giant enemies and execute combination attacks. Companions adapt to fighting styles with distinct abilities spanning defense, magic, and ranged support while rescuing teammates and blocking strikes.
WEMADE MAX chief executive Sohn Myun-seok said the title merges emotional storytelling with fast-paced battles to compete globally. The studios previously created Night Crows, a multiplayer online game with blockchain elements for computers and phones. MADNGINE recently restructured to develop multiple franchises across various platforms and advanced technology systems.
