AMD Ryzen 5 7500X3D spotted, could launch at CES
AMD appears ready to release another budget processor with 3D V-Cache technology after a UK distributor listed the Ryzen 5 7500X3D. The chip would become the fifth X3D model in the Ryzen 7000 series and the most affordable option yet with the gaming-focused stacking feature.
The processor likely has 6 cores and 12 threads, with 96 megabytes of L3 cache. Clock speeds should run lower than the Ryzen 5 7600X3D while other specifications remain similar. AMD previously sold that model exclusively through Microcenter before expanding to China and Europe.
The company continues producing Zen 4 processors despite launching newer generations. AMD may announce the 7500X3D at the Consumer Electronics Show alongside expected Ryzen 9000 series chips.
