Aputure launches new STORM 700x LED monolight
Aputure introduced the STORM 700x LED Monolight, a lighting system that delivers triple the brightness of the LS 600x Pro at three meters while remaining compact enough for baby stand mounting. The device features the company’s BLAIR light engine technology, which combines blue, lime, amber, indigo, and red chipsets to produce white light with enhanced green adjustability.
The 700-watt monolight supports color output across more than 70 percent of the Rec.2020 color space and offers a color temperature range of 2,500 to 10,000 Kelvin. Its IP65-rated weatherproof construction enables use in various production environments, while multiple control options accommodate different workflows.
The system ships with a 35-degree reflector, control box, clamp, head, power cables and rolling case. Aputure designed the unit for film, television and studio applications where high-output precision lighting proves necessary.
