CIS honours Kesington Adebutu in Lagos
The Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers granted honorary fellowship status to businessman Kesington Adebutu for his work supporting economic and social programs nationwide. Institute president Oluropo Dada said on Wednesday in Lagos that only 9 Nigerians had received this recognition previously. He noted the award goes to people who advance financial systems and contribute meaningfully to national prosperity.
Adebutu thanked the professional organization and pledged continued support for capital market development. The Stockbrokers Institute has shaped securities trading and investment education for three decades through certification programs and training aligned with international standards. His foundation recently opened a medical research facility at the University of Lagos to expand healthcare capabilities in the region.
