IndiGo resumes T2 ops at Delhi airport on October 26
IndiGo will shift operations back to Terminal 2 at Indira Gandhi International Airport starting Oct. 26 after a maintenance closure forced flights to other locations in April. The budget carrier will spread service across all three terminals with flights numbered 6E 2000 through 6E 2999 using Terminal 2. International departures and arrivals, plus flights numbered 6E 5000 through 6E 5999, will operate from Terminal 3 while remaining domestic routes continue at Terminal 1. Travelers should verify terminal assignments and departure times before heading to the airport.
The airline resumes direct service between New Delhi and Guangzhou on Nov. 10 with daily Airbus A320 flights departing at 9:45 p.m. and arriving at 4:40 a.m. local time. Return flights leave Guangzhou at 5:50 a.m. and reach Delhi at 10:10 a.m. The carrier became one of the first Indian airlines to restore China routes when it restarted Kolkata to Guangzhou service Oct. 26 after a break since 2020.
