iPhone 17e to get Dynamic Island with 60Hz display
Apple plans to add its Dynamic Island interface to the iPhone 17e while keeping the display at 60 hertz, according to leaker Digital Chat Station. The budget model arrives in spring 2026 with a screen matching the 6.1-inch panels from iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 devices.
The phone will run an A19 processor with reduced graphics capabilities and feature a single 48-megapixel rear camera. Apple’s Intelligence software and an 18-megapixel front camera complete the specifications alongside a glass back and aluminum frame.
Analyst Mark Gurman expects Apple to limit features deliberately to prevent the cheaper variant from competing with the standard iPhone 17. The strategy creates separation between budget and premium offerings in the product lineup.
