Morocco launches judicial tracking app
Morocco’s Public Prosecutor’s Office has introduced a mobile platform allowing citizens to track complaints through automated SMS updates sent to phone numbers registered during submission. The system provides status notifications as prosecutors take action, aiming to increase transparency and reduce response times across judicial operations.
Officials describe the application as part of a wider modernization effort to expand public access to legal services and strengthen communication channels between judicial authorities and citizens. Morocco has implemented several technology-driven reforms in recent years, including digital court filings and remote proceedings that saw more than 133,000 virtual hearings conducted during the pandemic. The tracking tool is expected to build confidence in judicial processes through improved visibility and faster information delivery.
