MSI shrinks RTX 5050 into tiny powerhouse
MSI released two compact graphics cards in its INSPIRE series that rank among the smallest RTX 5050 models available. The dual-slot cards measure 147 millimeters in length and weigh 551 grams, matching the dimensions of similar PNY products. The standard INSPIRE ITX version reaches boost speeds of 2,587 megahertz while the overclocked variant operates at 2,617 megahertz.
The cards feature three DisplayPort 2.1b outputs and one HDMI connection, though the RTX 5050 processor is only effective at 1080p gaming. Each unit draws 130 watts through a single eight-pin power connector and uses ZERO FROZR cooling with TORX Fan 5.0 technology. The shroud occupies approximately 2.1 slots despite MSI advertising a two-slot design.
