NALDA, Agbeyewa Farms partner for large-scale cassava project
NALDA has partnered with Agbeyewa Farms to create a Joint Venture for large-scale cassava cultivation and the management of the Renewed Hope Mega Farm Estate in Ekiti State. The initiative aims to strengthen Nigeria’s cassava value chain and improve food security. NALDA will clear 5,000 hectares of land to expand Agbeyewa’s operations, with similar projects planned in Delta and Kwara States. The collaboration promotes private sector involvement in cassava-based products and seeks to position Nigeria as a global leader in cassava exports. Agbeyewa Farms plans to become the world’s largest cassava farm.
