OneXPlayer readies Super X 14-inch Ryzen AI tablet
OneXPlayer plans to release the Super X, a 14-inch portable gaming system featuring AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395 APU with peak thermal design power reaching 120 watts. The manufacturer will offer a liquid-cooled configuration to manage sustained thermal loads in the tablet-style chassis that includes a magnetic keyboard attachment for hybrid computing applications.
The device incorporates a 2880 by 1800 AMOLED screen supporting 120 hertz refresh rates, high dynamic range content, and 4096-level stylus pressure sensitivity. Storage configurations support both internal M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 drives and external PCIe 4.0 mini solid-state drive expansion. Memory options extend to 128 gigabytes of LPDDR5X RAM.
Connectivity features include dual USB4 ports alongside USB 3.2 Type-A, HDMI 2.1, microSD card access, and analog audio output. An 83.5-watt-hour battery powers the system. The company has launched a Kickstarter campaign without announcing final pricing or availability information.
