Zenith Insurance donates to Lagos orphanages
Zenith General Insurance delivered food and supplies to Heritage Homes and Children Anchor Orphanage Home in Lagos. Senior Manager Edith Agu said the company wanted vulnerable children to feel valued through this effort. Heritage Homes opened 19 years ago when Pastor Ituah created space for abandoned children and matched them with families through donor support.
Children Anchor Orphanage Home began operations in 2020 and cares for more than 35 residents. Supervisor Olajide Ola Bankole said the facility depends on faith and online outreach to manage daily needs. Deputy IT Head Abimbola Sarumi told residents the team came to brighten their day and support their future.
Internal Control Head Muyiwa Aderibigbe said empathy drives the insurer’s community work and urged other firms to budget for social programs. The company manages over 552,000 pension accounts and maintains 26 trillion naira in assets that fund infrastructure projects. Officials encouraged businesses to contribute to society beyond profit targets despite economic pressures.
